The Ecobrick starter workshop was held at
Samsing, Jalpaiguri, West Bengal, India at Dewsi Bhawan.
The workshop started with the presentation on “Plastics the Biosphere & Ecobricks” and after presentation the session went on ecobricking with 17 new participants.
The presentation on Plastic, the Biosphere and Ecobricks was totally an amazing thing to all the participants, while making ecobricks all were focused to protect their base from getting scratches, dents and were super excited in making their 1st ecobrick to meet standard density as set by GEA to get quality ecobricks.
Lunch was arranged according to GEA workshop guidelines, where leaf plates were used to serve food.
Ecobricker Certificate was awarded to 17 participants for making their 1st quality ecobrick of standard density and are now aware of the danger of plastic. They have committed to follow the GEA principle “leading by example” in the home, community and Planetary transition from plastic to ever greener harmony with Earth’s cycles as an Ecobricker.
Next ecobricking session will take after 2 weeks where they will collect, segregate their own plastics and will ecobrick coming all together at one place as a community. (The beginning of Mandalic Collaboration)

Bottle volume – 500 ml
Plastics saved from going to the biosphere – 2kg 908 gms
