Raquel Schauff and Trisha Joe ran an online Ecobrick Talk sessions with the objective of bringing awareness of Ecobricks in New Zealand. Additionally, we were aiming to recruit more supporters within the Country. The sessions went well and feels like we are connecting with the right community to get the Ecobrick movement started right.
We had to prep the slides mixing slides from GEA trainning and from the research that Raquel made about Ecobricks in New Zealand. We choose the initial relevant information to inspire people to make Ecobricks.
We had to learn about Zoom meeting and made social media advertising and emails to invite people.
There were 2 40 minutes session (the same content) on April 27th and May 1st, 2020. Below the topics covered during the sessions:

We had total of 16 people joining the sessions. People made lots of questions and some demonstrated interest in creating projects and many ideas emerged. The sessions went well and feels like we are connecting with the right community to get the Ecobrick movement started right.
Technology like zoom and social media were new skills I needed to improve/acquire to make the sessions happen. First session we experience some faults and second session went smooth technology wise.
Preparation is very important to a good workshop.
To start Ecobrick making right is key for the sucess of projects in the future.
